GIS Specialist 100% Remote

Portfolio: Engineering Field Services Department: Outside Plant (OSP)

Position Summary

Under the direction of the GIS Manager, the GIS Specialist creates and maintains GIS data sets related to Fiber to the Home (FTTH) projects. This role may oversee up to two GIS Technicians and serve as a client lead for up to two clients. This position is 100% remote.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Create GIS base maps including plat information, lot numbers, streets, and utility easements.
  • Create and maintain GIS data sets, web maps, and web applications.
  • Create detailed construction packages utilizing ArcGIS Pro.
  • Assist Systems Engineers with custom client GIS mapping requests.
  • Lead, train, and oversee up to two GIS Technicians; serve as a client lead on up to two clients.
  • Support timelines, milestones, deliverables, and quality control; raise risks/concerns to management.
  • Maintain adherence to internal/external GIS practices, standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Attend virtual meetings and trainings as needed; perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • Associate’s degree in GIS or related field required; Bachelor’s preferred; OR 4 years related experience.
  • 4+ years in GIS or related field experience.
  • Proficiency in Esri software suites and Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with Python or Model Builder preferred.

Telecom Engineer 100% Remote

Position Summary

The Telecom Engineer is responsible for Fiber to the X (FTTX) design including outside plant design, low level design, GIS layouts, and analysis while maintaining quality standards and meeting business unit goals. This position is 100% remote.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Collaborate on project production including conceptual design, drafting, splice matrix, fiber assignments, and GIS input.
  • Create high & low level designs and cost estimates for fiber access networks.
  • Create splice matrix and fiber assignments; support timelines, milestones, deliverables, and quality control.
  • Support permitting research, scheduling, submission, and tracking to meet due dates.
  • Review/audit field collection maps and strand information; request Strand Maps when required.
  • Apply understanding of easements, right-of-way, property lines, and jurisdiction boundaries.
  • General understanding of aerial make-ready, PLA’s, and local power guidelines for joint use attachments.
  • Adhere to internal/external design practices, standards, policies, and procedures; raise risks/concerns as needed.

Education & Experience

  • Associate’s degree in engineering or related field required; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • 4–7 years related work experience with OSP fiber design.

Position Summary

Under the direction of the OSP Design Manager and in conjunction with the OSP Design team, the Telecom Technician supports Fiber to the X (FTTX) design including outside plant design and low level design while meeting quality standards. This position is 100% remote.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Support project production including low level design, drafting, and GIS input.
  • Create splice matrix and fiber assignments; effectively place fiber based on design methods.
  • General understanding of OSP design, installation, and maintenance activities.
  • Use field information (aerial/buried/underground) to design work orders for new or modified network facilities.
  • Adhere to internal/external design practices, standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Raise project concerns/risks to management as necessary.

Education & Experience

  • High School diploma required.
  • Associate’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.
  • Preferred: 6 months–1 year related experience with OSP fiber design.
  • General knowledge of FTTx and OSP fiber facilities (aerial/underground/buried).

Sales Account Executive Territory / Region Based

Portfolio: Corporate Department: Sales

Position Summary

This IT Services Sales Account Executive will lead the charge for generating sales and relationships throughout the Cybersecurity industry and beyond and is accountable to achieve sales quota within their territory/region. CHR is seeking to rapidly grow these services with a highly motivated and energized individual who looks forward to the challenge of helping to build and grow our business.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Achieve Order Value sales quota as defined in the Performance Pay Compensation Plan, for new Clients as the first priority.
  • Prospect, present, and close deals that provide new and profitable revenue to CHR.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue objectives within assigned territory.
  • Manage all aspects of the sales cycle: qualification, strategy, coordination of resources, negotiation, and closing.
  • New Clients:
    • Identify and pursue target clients in the assigned territory.
    • Identify and pursue the target market for CHR Cybersecurity Products.
    • Support CHR Sales Professionals executing campaigns in target accounts.
    • Support CHR Marketing by contacting every lead passed; pass cross-sell leads to the appropriate Solution Sales Specialist.
  • Expand services to existing Clients:
    • Segment clients from most potential to least potential to up sell.
    • Create a contact plan aligned to expected ROI of time.
    • Help build and execute Account Plans for nominated clients.
    • Escalate complaints and issues to the appropriate support organizations for resolution.
    • Pass cross-sell leads to the appropriate Solution Sales Specialist.
    • Keep the assigned CHR Sales Professional and Regional Sales Manager up to date on activities.
  • Reporting:
    • Maintain up to date information in CHR’s systems of record.
    • Provide timely and accurate management reports including forecasts.
    • Leverage partners and existing customers in territory to support sales efforts.
    • Accurately forecast opportunities by step of sale in line with 2025+ Sales Funnel Reporting Standards.
  • Proposals, Prices, and Statements of Work:
    • Develop and deliver non-binding proposals addressing client pain points and CHR’s unique value proposition.
    • Assist Sales Operations to draft executable SOWs and other agreements.
    • Present SOWs, pricing, and contractual documents for client signature.
  • Travel to and attend trade shows and/or meetings as requested by leadership.
  • Maintain regular face-to-face contact with clients and record data for sales metrics through CRM.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • 4-year Bachelor’s degree; MBA a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ technical sales experience in the Cybersecurity industry.
  • Proven track record of successful sales growth.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills; ability to interact with all personality types.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to qualify opportunities, apply knowledge of client needs, and establish a value proposition resulting in new business.
  • Ability to effectively utilize MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).

Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 70% by car and/or plane (may include weekend travel).
  • Current valid driver’s license required.
