Arun Pasrija, Ph.D

President and CEO

In his leadership role at CHR, Arun is responsible for the overall vision and strategy for the company. He is passionate about creating a vibrant culture with strong values where employees can thrive, and he has successfully developed a strong C-suite leadership team who share in creating vision and executing strategy.

Arun has been responsible for several major business transactions throughout his career, including start-ups, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. In 2003, he co-founded Global 1 Source Group (G1SG), which merged with CHR in 2006. Before G1SG, Arun served as Chief Operating Officer for L-3 Communications’ fixed-wireless spin-off business unit.

Prior to that, during 15 years with AT&T/Lucent, he held executive roles across domestic and international markets, managing global operations, technology, product development, M&A, and strategic planning. For Lucent’s Power Division, he served as expatriate country manager of India and later managed the $500 million Dallas-based division.

Arun holds a Doctorate and Master’s in Control System Engineering from Drexel University, Philadelphia, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from BITS Pilani. While at AT&T, he also completed a mini-MBA in Global Business through a joint program with Penn State University.

He is President and board member of TiE Houston, a global nonprofit dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship through mentorship and education, and has mentored and supported numerous start-ups over the past 15 years. Arun is also a five-time Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist.
