Douglas Benedict

Outside Director

Douglas B. Benedict is the Managing Principal of Regent Advisors, a private corporate advisory firm serving technology, software and communications clients. He has served on our Board of Directors since 2013.

Through Regent Advisors, he currently advises a number of clients including as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development for Orbic LLC, a global technology equipment, hardware and services competitor, and also advises its subsidiaries and affiliates.

Previously, Mr. Benedict served as a Managing Director of Outcome Capital, a private investment banking firm with offices in New York, Boston, Washington DC and London, providing corporate and strategic development advice and financial advisory and capital-raising services to public and private emerging growth and middle-market technology and communications clients.

He has also held leadership roles with Scura Partners, OEM Capital, and MTN Capital Partners, focusing on technology and communications investments. Earlier, he spent seven years as Senior Vice President of Business and Strategic Development at Cendant Corporation, a NYSE-listed global company with operations in 110 countries.

Earlier in his career, Doug spent 15 years as an investment banker in New York and London, primarily with Salomon/Smith Barney, Citigroup, and Bank of America, focusing on telecommunications, technology, and financial institution companies.

He holds a B.A. in Economics, cum laude, from Harvard University and an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
