Inspector (Off-site)

CHR Solutions has immediate openings for Inspectors. The Outside Plant Inspector is responsible for inspecting cable and phone lines in the state of Washington and is responsible for client satisfaction in all aspects of CHR Solutions OSP operations.

Essential Functions

1. Inspect and monitor the installation of fiber optic lines by outside plant construction in assigned territory.
2. Create project staking sheets.
3. Correct construction drawings to reflect “as built” units and routes.
4. Test cables and record results.
5. Determine corridors for cable placement.
6. Maintain project logs and record work progress daily.

Education and Experience Requirements

• -Technical degree or high school education preferred.
• -Experience in telecom construction or related field preferred.
• -Aerial staking and inspection experience required.
• -Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures and procedure manuals.
• -Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• -Basic computer skills.
• -Ability to travel 90% to on-site projects.
• -Current driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.
