There are three key areas where mobile operators can capture market value in the hotly contested cloud services market though, according to the Boston-based market research consultancy's "Three Ways Mobile Operators Can Monetize Cloud Service Value."

Half of cloud services customers are choosing private cloud services as opposed to 32% choosing a public cloud services model, according to results of a CA Technologies' survey of cloud services providers (CSPs) released recently. CSP respondents forecast 30% growth in their businesses this year.

SMB Focus on Network Security Will Lead to Two Fold Increase

Small and medium-sized businesses' (SMBs) spending on security technology will increase nearly twice as fast as that for the security technology market sector overall, according to a report from IDC special report. SMBs spend more than $5.6 billion on security technology in 2015, IDC forecasts, almost double the 5%-6% constant annual growth rate (CAGR) for security products and solutions overall.
