Revenue Assurance

Are you leaving revenue on the table?

CHR Solutions found that revenue for five clients last year who collectively recovered more than $283,000. The smallest amount was $43,000 and the largest was $120,000 annually.

Why is this happening? One reason is that billing has become much more complex over the past few years. For example:

  • IXCs are billed from switched access tariffs

  • Wireless carriers are billed from wireless interconnection agreements

  • CLECs are billed from local interconnection agreements

  • Dedicated facilities are billed from switched and special access tariffs and interconnection agreements

Other reasons include lack of in-house experience, misunderstanding of access billing, not billing the appropriate rates to maximize revenue, not billing for special circuits, phantom traffic problems, and more. Your risks include reduced earnings and understated revenue reporting, or financial liability and having to issue credits due to overbilling.

CHR’s experienced team provides a full suite of revenue assurance services.
