NXX Codes |
AOCN
|
 |
An important aspect of providing
telecommunications services is obtaining and maintaining
central office codes (NXXs). Providers must obtain, change
and update NXX codes due to switch upgrades and changes in
the routing of NXX codes. Timing is critical and dealing
with these details takes experience. |
 |
CHR can also
assist with Type 1 migrations of NXX codes to wireless
carriers |
|
 |
ILECs, CLECs and wireless carriers are
now required to handle their own database administration,
which is performed by an Administrative Operating Company
Number (AOCN) provider. CHR enters and updates client
information into the Telcordia Technologies Traffic Routing
Administration (TRA) database. |
 |
CHR provides a complete portfolio of AOCN services. We
currently provide basic and enhanced services to over
120 telecom companies, including wireless, paging, ILEC and
CLEC firms. |
